Our work in Bolton & Bury
Real jobs for real customers — from storm-damaged trees to overgrown hedges.
Taking down a tall tree, piece by piece
With no room to fell this tree in one go, our climber Richard worked from the top down, cutting the stem into manageable sections and lowering them on ropes. It’s the safest way to remove a big tree close to houses and gardens.

Tree on the decking and against the house
Following a storm, this tree came down across a family’s decking and was resting on the house. We removed the tree safely, then took out the stump and the root system, leaving everything clear and tidy.

Tree down on a garage roof
High winds brought this tree down onto a garage. We removed it in controlled sections so no more damage was done to the roof, then cleared the site.

Lowering conifers to a manageable height
This customer wanted his conifers lowered so he no longer had to climb a ladder to look after them. Treelation specialise in conifer reductions, taking time to get the height right so the finish still gives privacy.

A high hedge, blocking the light
An overgrown leylandii hedge was cut back and reduced, leaving a neat, tidy hedge and far more light in the garden.

Leylandii between two greenhouses and a shed
A large leylandii surrounded by two greenhouses and a shed was taken down in small pieces — with no damage to any of them. While we were there we tidied a few extra bushes for the customer too.

Clearing stumps for a new garden
A large cherry stump in the corner of a garden was ground out so the family could build a rockery. Elsewhere, we ground a stump away to give access to the side of a garage.
